Questions about tickets, events or selling on Rumba? We’re here.
Frequently asked questions
›How do I buy tickets?
Open an event and tap Get Tickets. Some events sell through a partner site; others sell in the Rumba app with QR entry.
›Where are my tickets after purchase?
Under My Account → My Tickets — here on the website and in the Rumba app. Same account, same tickets, each with a QR code for entry.
›Can I get a refund?
Orders bought on Rumba can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the event from My Tickets. For partner-site purchases, refunds follow the organizer’s policy — send us a message and we’ll help.
›How do I find events near me?
The home page lists events by city, and you can search by artist, venue or city. The Rumba app adds a live map of events around you.
›My event changed date, was postponed, or moved venue. What happens to my ticket?
Your ticket stays valid and your QR code does not change — there is nothing you need to do. We email everyone holding a ticket as soon as the organizer changes the date, moves the venue, or postpones. A postponed event pauses ticket sales and keeps your ticket; we email you again once a new date is set.
›What happens if an event is cancelled?
We email everyone holding a ticket, and you are refunded the ticket price plus tax. The card processing fee and Ticket Protection are not refunded. A cancelled ticket no longer scans at the door and its wallet pass stops working.
›How and when do I get a refund for a cancelled event?
You do not need to request it — the refund goes back to the card you paid with. Depending on the organizer and your bank, allow up to about 10 business days. If it has not arrived by then, send us a message with your order number and we will look into it.
›Can I get physical printed tickets for my event?
Yes, if you are an approved organizer. On a computer, go to your dashboard → Printed tickets → New order, pick one of your live events, choose how many tickets per price tier or table, confirm your shipping address and pay. We print and ship them; you sell them yourself and keep 100% of what you charge. Every printed ticket has its own QR code and scans at the door with the Rumba Scanner, and carries a 6-character backup code underneath in case the QR is damaged. Printed tickets come out of the same capacity as your online sales, so you cannot oversell the room.
›What do printed tickets cost?
Two charges, at two different times. When you order: printing ($0.50 per ticket), flat shipping ($7 per order no matter the quantity), and card processing — all itemized before you pay, and non-refundable once printing starts. After your event: Rumba’s normal per-ticket fee (3.7% + $1.79), charged only on tickets that were actually SCANNED at your door. Tickets you never sold cost you nothing more, and free tickets never carry a per-ticket fee. The after-event amount is charged to the card you used for the order. Note that undoing a check-in fixes your guest list but does not remove a fee — once a ticket has been admitted it counts; contact us if one was scanned by mistake.
